Adjika from plums for the winter – a simple and tasty recipe, how to cook step by step
If you love all kinds of sauces, take note of this recipe. Adjika from plums turns out to be sweet and sour, moderately spicy, with a light fruity note. Good in winter for meat and fish dishes. Choose sour plums so that the sauce is not overly sweet.
Step by step cooking recipe
Rinse the plums, remove the pits, then sprinkle with sugar and add salt. Boil the workpiece over medium heat for 5 minutes after boiling, so that the plums release the juice.
Without removing from heat, add tomato paste, and after a few more minutes, finely chopped bell pepper and chili pepper. Boil for another 10-15 minutes, stirring.
Add minced garlic, stir and remove from heat. Add spices and herbs if desired.
Using a blender, beat adjika until smooth, put on fire again and bring to a boil.
Pour boiling adjika from plums into pre-sterilized jars, roll up and leave upside down until completely cooled.
