Have you decided to cook only one type of preservation from peaches this year? Let it be amber jam slices. Do not cook it for a long time. Two sets of five minutes are enough. Instead of lemon juice, you can use a little citric acid.
Step by step cooking recipe
Peel the peaches, cut in half, remove the stones and cut into slices.
Put the peaches in a deep saucepan, sprinkle with sugar and leave for 1.5-2 hours.
Place the pot of peaches over low heat, add water and bring to a boil.
Boil for 5 minutes, remove from heat and set aside for 1 hour.
Bring the jam back to a boil, add the lemon juice and cook for another 5 minutes.
Fill sterilized jars with hot jam, roll up and wrap in a warm towel.
