Apple-cherry compote for the winter

Is there anyone who does not like winter compotes in large three-liter jars? This is all that our mothers and grandmothers prepared. This time I will share a proven recipe for apples and cherries – simple, affordable and very, very tasty.


  • Cherry –
    2 glasses
  • Apples –
    4 pieces
  • Sugar
    350 Mr
  • Water
    2.5 l
  • Lemon acid
    1 c.l.

Step by step cooking recipe

Sort the cherries, randomly chop the apples and put everything in a jar.

Pour boiling water, cover and leave for half an hour.

Drain this water and boil it again.

Pour sugar and citric acid into a jar, pour boiling water and roll up the compote.
