Apple compote for the winter

Canned apple compote quenches thirst well, is stored for a long time, suitable for everyday use and on the festive table. Fast, tasty, fragrant and definitely healthier than store-bought drinks. From these products you get 1 liter jar.


  • Apples –
    250 Mr
  • Sugar
    70 Mr
  • Water
    850 Jr
  • Lemon acid
    0,5 c.l.

Step by step cooking recipe

Rinse the apples, remove the core, cut into medium slices. Place the slices in the prepared sterile jar.

Boil water, pour boiling water into a jar of apples, cover with a lid and leave to infuse for 15-20 minutes.

Then drain the water from the jar into a saucepan, add sugar and citric acid, bring the syrup to a boil and boil over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.

Pour the boiling syrup back into the jar of apples. Roll up the jar, turn over, wrap and leave to cool completely. Store the finished apple compote in a cool, dark place.
