Let’s refine the usual recipe and prepare apple jam with fragrant orange for the winter. Citrus is cut and mixed with apple puree. If desired, you can shade the taste with cinnamon, cardamom or vanilla. More details further in the recipe.

Step by step cooking recipe

Cut apples into quarters and remove pits.

Grind pieces of fruit in a blender or pass through a meat grinder.

Scald oranges with boiling water and cut into small pieces along with the peel.

Mix both blanks in a saucepan of a suitable size, add sugar and leave for 1.5-2 hours.

Place the saucepan over low heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Pour in the lemon juice and boil for another 5 minutes.

Arrange the hot jam in clean, dry jars and roll up.
