Although its origin is believed to be from France, this typical recipe for Holy Week in Spain as well as in Venezuela is prepared with cassava previously in syrup.
This is a family recipe that my grandmother taught me to prepare, today I want to share it with you so that you can enjoy it and surprise your guests, it will surely leave more than one with their mouths open because it seems super complex to make and quite the opposite.
It is an original, different, quite easy, and fast dessert. In addition, it requires inexpensive ingredients such as the following:
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 and 1/2 glasses of flour
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 10 grams of yeast
- 2 eggs
- 150 ml of milk
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 pinch of salt
How to prepare this dessert?
To start preparing this recipe we are going to sift the flour together with the yeast and a pinch of salt so that the dessert is smooth and the final dough is well distributed and mix it with the sugar.
Next, we beat the eggs well and add the milk and oil, stirring. In this third step, we mix well the first step together with the second. Next, we are going to chop the bananas, which preferably have to be ripe so that the dessert is much richer and more delicious. We put it in the dough and stirred.
Finally, we put a frying pan with oil over medium heat to fry, when it is a little hot, we deposit with the help of a spoon a little mixture on the oil.
Let fry well until golden on both sides. Remove and overflow them with sugar. Do the latter until you finish with the dough. They are ready to taste, it is a different dessert and it is delicious, and ideal to have as a snack.
