Battered and Fried Onion Rings

In today’s recipe, I show you how to prepare a very easy appetizer step by step to surprise family and friends before the meal. Learn how to cook battered and fried onion rings, they are super crunchy and delicious quickly and easily.
The ingredients we need are easy to find and cheap, yeast is not required, although we will use eggs to achieve that incredible and characteristic flavor:
- 1 onion
- 1 egg
- Salt to taste
- pepper to taste
How to prepare onion rings and perfect dough?
We start by peeling the onion and cutting it into thick slices, now we are going to separate the different sizes that are inside the largest slice.
We place two plates, in one we are going to put the flour and salt and pepper to taste and mix well;
Pass the different slices first through the egg, mix well on both sides and then through the flour, pass on both sides.
Put a frying pan over medium heat with a jet of oil, once hot add the onion, brown well on both sides, and as soon as they are done we transfer them to a plate with absorbent paper so that it absorbs all the excess oil.
It can be taken as an aperitif or accompanied with a salad or French fries and is ideal for dipping into delicious sauces.
Remember that it is not good to abuse this type of food only for special days to eat something different on the menu.
