Canned pike for the winter

If you regularly buy canned fish, I recommend starting to make them yourself. First, it’s much easier than it looks. Secondly, you can independently vary the ingredients and spices. And certainly no questionable additives!

Step by step cooking recipe

Cut the pike, cut into pieces and mix with spices. Leave for an hour.

Put everything in clean jars and fill with water or broth.

Cover with foil and send the jars to the oven at 150 degrees.

Wait for the boil, reduce the temperature to 100 and cook all 4-5 hours.

Add water or broth as needed. Bring to a boil again and roll up the canned food.
