Canned sprat for the winter

Who said that winter preparations are only vegetables and fruits? Catch an excellent recipe for canned sprats. It will help out if there was no fresh meat or fish at hand, but you need something meat for a snack or in addition to the main course.

Step by step cooking recipe

Pass all the vegetables through a meat grinder and boil for half an hour over low heat.

Add the washed sprat and simmer for another 1.5 hours.

Add oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and spices.

Simmer for another 10 minutes and roll the canned sprats into sterile jars.
