I love dried fruit compotes for their bright, rich, almost concentrated taste. Such a drink made from dried apricots and prunes is very different from that made from fresh garden fruits. And you can cook it at any time of the year.
Step by step cooking recipe
Soak dried fruits in boiling water for 10 minutes and rinse.
Boil water with sugar. Add dried fruits and cook for 15 minutes.
Add citric acid, remove the compote from the heat and let it brew for an hour under the lid.
