Cucumbers in tomato sauce for the winter

Cucumbers in tomato sauce for the winter

The combination of cucumbers and tomatoes is always successful. Let’s cook crispy cucumbers in tomato sauce this time, shall we? To be honest, I first tried this delicious preparation quite recently and immediately found out the recipe. I will gladly tell you.

Step by step cooking recipe

Rinse cucumbers, cover with cold water and leave for a couple of hours. This will make the pickles crispier.

Rinse dill and currant leaves and lightly dry. Peel the garlic and cut into large slices.

Place tomato paste in a saucepan, add salt and sugar, bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute after boiling. Then add the vinegar and remove the sauce from the heat. Cool completely.

Dill, currant leaves, garlic and allspice equally spread in sterile jars. Then tightly fill the jars with prepared cucumbers.

Pour the cooled tomato sauce into jars with cucumbers, cover with lids and sterilize the workpiece for 10 minutes in a saucepan of boiling water.

After sterilization, roll up the jars, turn upside down, wrap and leave to cool completely. Then move the workpiece to a cool dark place.
