Forshmak is homemade and delicious

If the herring is very salty, pre-soak it in cold boiled water or milk.
Remove the fillet from the fish. (Today I had a ready-made herring fillet of light salting. Therefore, I didn’t soak anything ..)
Soak bread in milk.
Peel the apple.
Twist the herring, eggs, onion, apple, soaked bread twice in a meat grinder.
Add butter, lemon juice, pepper, if desired – sunflower oil.
Taste for salt, add a little if needed.
Mix well.
Cool in the refrigerator.
I didn’t add lemon juice.
