Gingerbread Cookie

Sift flour. Add baking soda, cloves, ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Mix thoroughly
In a separate bowl, beat the soft butter and sugar until white (about 4-5 minutes).
Beat in the egg and stir/beat until smooth
Then add honey and salt.
Mix everything thoroughly
Pour flour into the butter mixture in parts and knead a homogeneous dough.
Wrap the dough in a film / bag and put it in the refrigerator for an hour and a half
Put the dough on parchment, sprinkle with a little flour and roll out a layer 4-5 mm thick
Cut out pastry pieces using cookie cutters
Bake for 5-6 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 C
Decorate with frosting if desired.
