Green gooseberry jam with mint

At our dacha, mint grows next to the gooseberry bushes. The combination of flavors led me to the idea that you can make gooseberry jam with mint. The experiment was a success – everyone really liked the jam! Now I am sharing the recipe with you.
Step by step cooking recipe
Sort the gooseberries, rinse and place in a saucepan.
Strip the mint leaves from the sprigs, rinse and add to the pot with the berries.
Sprinkle with sugar and leave for a couple of hours at room temperature.
Put the pan on a slow fire and boil for 10 minutes. Remove from stove and set aside to cool.
Bring the mass to a boil again, add citric acid and boil for another 5-7 minutes.
Arrange the hot jam in sterilized jars and roll up.
