There are always a lot of spicy snacks in my pantry. Among the favorites are green tomatoes with horseradish and garlic. I recommend that you cook them using this simple recipe. I remind you that the eyes are very watery from the horseradish root.
Step by step cooking recipe
Garlic, horseradish root clean and cut.
Pierce green tomatoes with a needle in several places.
Place currant and cherry leaves, garlic, horseradish root and tomatoes in jars.
Pour boiling water to the top, cover with lids and leave to warm up for 30 minutes.
Drain the water into a saucepan, add salt, sugar and bring to a boil again.
Pour in the vinegar, remove from heat and pour into jars.
Roll up, turn upside down and wrap in a warm blanket.
