Indeed, among these we find chestnut pumpkin. In fact, its pulp has a hint of chestnut, another typical autumn product. Or rather, of chestnut puree, cream that is obtained by blending the fruits after having boiled them and often served as an appetizer. According to a minority of palates, however, the flavor of the Hokkaido pumpkin resembles that of nights.
