Kalina with honey is a vitamin bomb on your table. Use the blank at your discretion: as a filling in pastries and topping for desserts, for making fruit drinks, compotes or aromatic tea. Plus, it’s great for boosting your immune system!
Step by step cooking recipe
Carefully remove the viburnum berries from the branches, pour cold water for 10 minutes. Then drain the water, rinse the viburnum under running water and put it in a colander.
If necessary, warm the candied honey until dissolved in a water bath or in a microwave oven for 1-2 minutes. If you have liquid honey, these manipulations are not required.
Pour viburnum with liquid honey, mix with light pressure so that the berries release juice. Leave for 10 minutes.
Pour the berry mass with honey into prepared small jars so that a layer of honey is on top, and twist. Store the blank in the refrigerator for 6-9 months.
