This vegetable is often overlooked, however, many delicious dishes can be prepared from it. I recommend starting with this simple recipe. Crispy kohlrabi cabbage is a great alternative to pickles and zucchini.

Step by step cooking recipe

Peel the kohlrabi cabbage and cut into small cubes.

Boil water, add salt, cabbage and boil for 2 minutes.

Drain in a colander and rinse with cold water.

Place spices and kohlrabi in jars.

Boil water, add sugar, salt, citric acid and boil for 1 minute.

Pour cabbage in jars with boiling marinade and sterilize for 10 minutes.

Roll it up, turn it upside down and wrap it in a warm blanket for a day.
