Lemon-ginger drink (tea) with honey: tasty, healthy, warming and tonic

We need one small thick-skinned lemon.

Remove the zest from it with a sharp knife.

We remove only the yellow part, trying to leave the white on the lemon.

Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice out of it.

10 grams of ginger, peeled and cut into small slices.

Boil one liter of water in a saucepan or ladle.

Throw the zest, ginger and 3 tablespoons of sugar into boiling water.

Reduce the heat, cover the saucepan with a lid and cook our drink for 15-20 minutes.

After that, cool it a little, add lemon juice.

And a couple of tablespoons of honey.

If you get a lot of lemon juice, then add not all of it.

In general, adjust the taste of the drink to your taste with lemon juice.

We filter the drink through a strainer and drink it warm or cold.
