Mother-in-law tongue from cucumbers for the winter
The popular salad has many variations. I recently tried my mother-in-law’s cucumber tongue. It turned out that cooking it is simple and fast: no need to fry the main vegetable and deal with rolls. I share an interesting recipe with you!
Step by step cooking recipe
Soak cucumbers in cold water for 3 hours.
Cut cucumbers, tomatoes and peeled onions.
Put the onion in a heated pan with oil and fry until translucent.
Add tomatoes, spices, sugar, salt and crushed garlic. Simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.
Add cucumbers and simmer covered for 15 minutes.
Pour in the vinegar, arrange in sterilized jars and roll up. After a day, transfer the jars to storage in a dark, cool place.
