Great recipe if you run out of tomatoes. Mother-in-law tongue from zucchini with tomato paste and pepper – a delicious vegetable salad for the winter. It can be sterilized in jars, but I prefer to just boil it. These preserves keep great!
Step by step cooking recipe
Cut the zucchini and peeled bell pepper.
Peel the garlic and finely chop.
Mix zucchini with garlic and salt. Cover and leave for 15 minutes.
Put the workpiece in a preheated pan with oil and fry until golden brown.
Separately, fry the bell pepper in oil. It takes 5-7 minutes for the moisture to evaporate and the vegetables to brown a little.
In a large pot, combine bell peppers and zucchini.
Pour in water mixed with tomato paste and sugar. Simmer everything together for 20 minutes.
Add vinegar, put the salad in prepared jars and roll up.
