Mussels in garlic tomato sauce

Step by step cooking recipe

Defrost mussels and wash.

When defrosted, the shell should open.

Mussels that have not opened should not be eaten!

Heat oil in a frying pan.

Finely chop the onion and garlic and fry over medium heat until translucent and soft.

Don’t fry!

I have homemade canned tomatoes in my own juice.

Remove the skin and chop coarsely.

If desired, you can grind with a blender until smooth.

Put the tomatoes in the pan along with the juice.

Add chili rings, aromatic herbs.

When it boils, salt and add a pinch of sugar for balance.

Dip the mussels into the boiling sauce and simmer for 10 minutes, covered with a lid.

Pour over lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped herbs.

Serve with spaghetti or rice.

I cooked spaghetti from whole wheat flour.

Contains flour and water.
