During the New Year holidays, you need to spend time with family and friends: get together, play board games, watch Home Alone and, of course, give gifts. You can surprise guests with unusual treats or hold a master class on preparing New Year’s drinks – this is another way to spend an atmospheric New Year’s Eve with friends. Experiment with the ingredients and the serving of the cocktail: we suggest using Poetti Leggenda coffee for the base, which will add aroma and unique taste to the drink. Dmitry Korsakov, barista trainer of the Poetti coffee brand, shared his recipes for New Year’s drinks.
BELLA NOTTI cocktail recipe
Ingredients
- 60 ml. espresso coffee
- 30 ml. Bailey’s liqueur
- 70 ml. milk
- 10 g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
- 10 g raspberry jam
- sea salt crystal
- cream (10-11%)
- marshmallows for decoration
Cooking
- Heat the milk, add espresso, dark chocolate, sea salt and raspberry jam to it. Stir until ingredients are dissolved.
- Strain the raspberry pits.
- Pour 30 ml of Bailey’s cream liqueur into the bottom of the glass, add milk and stir.
- Whip the cold cream in a shaker or French press.
- Gently spoon the whipped cream over the top in a separate layer. Decorate with marshmallows.
- The cocktail is ready, it remains to enjoy its creamy and dense taste, drinking from the edge.
Cocktail recipe «MERRY MINT»
Ingredients
- 125 ml. coffee
- 15 g mint chocolate
- 20 g whipped cream
- Mint and grated chocolate (for decoration)
Cooking
- Prepare coffee using your favorite method.
- Put mint chocolate in the bottom of the glass.
- Pour in freshly brewed hot coffee.
- Mix well until chocolate is melted.
- Gently spoon the whipped cream over the coffee.
- Sprinkle with grated chocolate and place a few mint leaves over the cream.
The drink is ready. Enjoy the taste in a pleasant holiday atmosphere!
