At the height of the garlic season, there is so much of it that sometimes you have to think about how to save it so that it does not have time to dry out. In this case, I will definitely marinate a couple of jars. I am pleased to share with you a very unusual recipe with red currants.
Step by step cooking recipe
Pluck the currants from the branches. Add water, half the sugar and salt, and boil everything together for 5 minutes.
Grind the currant through a sieve. Add vinegar and the remaining sugar and salt to this juice. Bring to a boil.
Arrange the garlic cloves and peppers in sterilized jars.
Pour currant marinade and sterilize them for another 10 minutes.
Roll up for the winter.
