Recipe: Brinjul
Step by step cooking recipe
Prepare dough:
mix flour, salt and yeast
add warm water – knead the dough (by consistency, like pancakes)
cover the container with the dough and leave in a warm place for 20-30 minutes
mix the dough
cover again and leave for another 10-15 minutes
Prepare the filling:
boil, cool and peel the eggs
grate two types of cheese and boiled eggs on a coarse grater – mix
salt to taste – stir
Butter cut into small pieces
Lubricate the preheated form (diameter 24 cm) with a small piece of butter
Pour all the dough into the form – slightly level
Put pieces of butter on the dough – lightly press into the dough
Put all the stuffing on the dough – slightly pressing to distribute over the entire diameter
Bake brinjula in an oven preheated to 200-220 degrees for 20-30 minutes – until golden brown
Sprinkle with fresh herbs when serving.
