Recipe: Cake for the New Year’s table
Step by step cooking recipe
For the dough: I add sifted cocoa, sugar, vanilla, eggs to the melted butter, mix, add the sifted flour (I add baking powder and salt to the flour), mix well.
I spread the dough into a square shape lined with parchment, level it in shape and send it to the oven for 15-17 minutes, oven temperature 180C.
For cream: beat soft butter for about 1 minute, add condensed milk and continue to beat for another 1 minute.
For fondant: I break a bar of chocolate, add cream and melt over a fire, stirring constantly until smooth.
I take the cake out of the oven, let it cool, cut off the sides, cut it in half.
I put the first half on a dish and pour the cream with a pastry syringe, then cover with the second half and put the cream on this part of the cake, pour not hot, warm chocolate fondant on top.
