Recipe: Hake in sweet and sour sauce

Clean the fish, trim the fins, remove all excess inside, the film, rinse well again.

Cut along the ridge, and then cut into portions.

Put in a bowl, lightly salt, add 2 tbsp. l. starch, mix, fry the fish in vegetable oil until tender.

Cooking sweet and sour sauce: pour vegetable oil into a pan (I cook everything over low heat), add ketchup, mix, chopped garlic, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and water, mix everything, add starch (add starch to a warm mass so that it dissolved, not curdled), mix well again, let it boil, add dried ginger, boil for 2 minutes.

I put the fish in the sauce, mix gently so that the fish remains whole, boil for 10 seconds, remove from heat.

Put the finished fish on a dish, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top.
