Recipe: Macaroon Amaretti

If you do not have almond flour, you can cook it yourself, dry the nuts and grind fine crumbs with a blender.

Proteins, salt, powdered sugar, beat with a mixer until soft peaks.

Optionally, for a stronger flavor, you can add almond extract or Amaretto liqueur.

Add the almonds to the beaten egg whites, mix with a spatula until smooth.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a baking mat, use 2 teaspoons to place on a baking sheet,

round cookies, spaced apart.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Cookies should acquire a dense crust, crack in places, until golden brown.

While the cookies are hot, they are soft, as they cool, they become crispy.

Let them cool on the baking sheet, this is important.

Place the cooled cookies on a plate.
