Recipe: Quesadilla with Cheese

Step by step cooking recipe

Knead dough for tortillas:

• add salt and butter to the flour

• grind flour with butter

• add water – knead soft and non-sticky dough

• wrap the dough in cling film and leave at room temperature for 15-20 minutes

Prepare tortillas:

• put the dough on a floured surface, knead lightly and divide into 6-8 pieces

• round the pieces of dough – cover 7 pieces with cling film and set aside

• roll out the rest of the dough into a round cake, 2 mm thick

• fry the cake in a hot and dry frying pan on both sides (30-40 seconds on each side)

• prepare the tortillas in the same way using the remaining pieces of dough

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, chop the greens

Form the quesadillas:

• put some grated cheese on half of the tortilla

• put a little chopped greens on the cheese

• put another layer of cheese on the greens

• cover the filling with the second half of the cake and press lightly

Fry the quesadillas on both sides in hot oil.
