Step by step cooking recipe
Pass the peeled tomatoes through a meat grinder and randomly chop the rest of the vegetables.
Boil the fish until cooked and also cut into pieces.
Saute onion, carrot and pepper until soft. Add tomatoes, bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes over low heat.
Add tomato sauce, sugar, salt and fish and bring back to a boil.
Simmer another 15 minutes. Add bay leaf and vinegar, and cook for another 15 minutes.
Roll the fish salad into sterile jars.
