Salad with herring and quail eggs

Lettuce leaves should be thoroughly washed, shaken off the water, put on a paper towel and allowed to dry a little. Next, we turn the entire bunch of lettuce leaves into a tube and cut into fairly large strips, 1.5 – 2 centimeters wide.

Put the chopped leaves in a salad bowl.

Onion cut into strips.

Slightly crush (then the onion will be softer).

If you took not a herring fillet, but a whole herring, you must first peel it from the skin by making an incision along the back and belly.

Then take out the insides and cut off the head.

Further, starting from the back, separate it from the ridge.

Now carefully remove all the bones from both halves of the fillet.

Cut the herring fillet into small pieces (2 cm wide).

Boil eggs (if you do not know how many minutes quail eggs are boiled, then focus on 4 minutes in boiling water), peel and cut (in half or into 4 parts).

Ready for refueling:

Pour 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil into a small plate.

Wash the lemon and cut it into two halves.

Squeeze the juice from one half of the lemon and add it to the oil.

Add regular and grainy mustard.

Stir until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Salad dressing before serving.
