Simple and quick cookies from the guests on the doorstep series + bonus

We will need 100 grams of butter at room temperature or margarine for baking.

Add to it 80-100 grams of sugar or powdered sugar.

Mix butter and sugar well with a spoon.

Add 4 egg yolks.

Again, mix well with a spoon.

Add 150 g flour.

Again, mix well with a spoon.

Add another 150 g of flour and knead the dough with your hands.

Lay a non-stick mat or a piece of parchment with a non-stick coating on the countertop.

We pinch off a piece of dough the size of a fist and roll it out with a rolling pin on a rug in a fairly thin layer.

The rolling pin does not need to be powdered with flour.

Next we put a large baking sheet of a standard size and also cover it with a rug or parchment.

We heat the oven to 180 degrees.

Cut out cookies of any shape from the dough.

And place them on a lined baking sheet.

You can not leave distances between them – they practically do not increase in size during baking.

We add the remaining lumps of dough to the still unrolled one, pinch off a piece of dough again and roll it out again.

Put the tray in the oven for 10-15 minutes.

While the first batch of cookies is baking, cut out the second batch.

From this amount of dough, in theory, you should get two baking sheets of cookies.

If you have a second baking sheet, then we cover it and put the second batch of cookies on it.

I just put another non-stick mat nearby and place the cookies on it.

When the first batch of cookies is baked, take the baking sheet out of the oven.

We remove the cookies into a bowl.

Take the rug off the tray.

We put another mat on a baking sheet with the second batch of cookies laid on it and send it to the oven for the same 10-15 minutes.

Bon appetit and don’t be afraid to experiment!
