I would also suggest to see if there are any other applications like Dolby Audio running. In my case it was and had taken exclusive lock on the headset. I have exactly the same issue. SnagIt does not capture the audio I hear on my bluetooth headset.

All other outputs work fine eg via speaker. Windows 10 XBox Game Bar recording method works fine. Seems to be a SnagIt issue to me which makes it’s recording capability pretty useless for me. Is there a viable solution. I definitely know that no other audio applications are running that would interfere with the recording of audio.

If I use my USB headset, it works perfectly. But when I switch over from wired to a BlueTooth connection, it stops recording the audio. Exactly same issue here with a corporate supplied Jabra headset. Product is useless unless this very obvious need is addressed what Yeah, that’s a HUGE drawback!

Same issue – no remote side audio is recorded over Bluetooth Bose in my case headset. My side local audio is recorded successfully. However, when I switch to computer audio, both remote and local audio are recorded.

I had followed all 6 troubleshooting options stated in the link above all in vain, including disabling AllowMfAudioCapture. Moreover, I had found that, should I start recording with BT on, then turn off BT in the middle of recording and use computer audio for the rest, the recording seemingly continues, however, after I stop the recording, I only end up with a short portion of video until the moment I had switched my audio from BT to comp.

Must be a bug. I have the same issue with my USB wired Plantronics headset. I need to be able to record trainings and meetings. It use to be so easy but now I can’t manage to get my videos with Audio. Snagit please update the software and fix this bug.
