Homemade ketchup is a delicious sauce without unnecessary additives that can be given even to children. The beauty of this recipe is that ketchup is prepared without the addition of vinegar. Vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike will love it! To potatoes, pasta, meat and even pizza!

Step by step cooking recipe

Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, leave for 3-5 minutes, then remove the skin and cut arbitrarily.

Peel bell peppers from seeds and stalks, cut into cubes. Chop the onion.

Blend the prepared vegetables in a blender until smooth.

Place the vegetable mass in a saucepan, bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to a minimum and boil the sauce, stirring occasionally, for 1 hour.

Add salt, sugar, spices and spices, mix, bring to a boil again and boil for another 10 minutes.

Pour boiling ketchup into pre-sterilized small jars and seal tightly. Store cooled ketchup in the refrigerator.
